There's so much you can achieve in The Senior Section that it can be hard to know where to start - but here's a good place!

Look Wider and the Chief Guide's Challenge

Queen's Guide Award

All The Senior Section members over the age of 16 can work towards their Queen's Guide Award. It is the highest award that you can achieve in guiding!

This internationally recognised award comes in three stages: Bronze (for those aged 14 and over), Silver (15 and over) and Gold (16 and over).

Senior Section Permit

Once you have gained your Senior Section Permit you can take Guides or Senior Section girls (maximum of eight) away for a sleepover.

Young Leader Qualification

If you are between 14 and 16 years old and currently volunteering as a Young Leader with another section, then the Young Leader Qualification is for you.

Commonwealth Award

This award is open to all members in the Commonwealth and has been designed to allow you to develop your knowledge of other Commonwealth countries.

Leadership Qualification

If you'd like to become an adult Leader with a section, then you'll need to complete the Leadership Qualification first.
