EmilyI have been in Girlguiding for 13 years - I joined as a Guide but made my promise as a Brownie when I was 16 as I was jealous I never got to walk up to the toadstool! I am a qualified Leader for both Brownies and Guides, with which I have been a Leader with for five years.

My background
I am 23 originally from the glamorous town of Basingstoke! In 2008 I moved to Falmouth to study graphic design at University College Falmouth. I graduated in 2011 at which point, I went to India to live and work at Sangam. Now I find myself in London where I am interning at Cannes in a van - a small film festival supporting independent film.

November: Vegan me

My pledge to become vegan again and how it is helping the environment.

October: International opportunities

This month, I travelled to Bristol for an International Opportunities (INTOPS) weekend. It was so amazing to be in an environment with enthusiastic and interesting young women with such a keenness for international travel.

September: California dreaming

This month I took a group of Guides and Senior Section members to a Girl Scout Centenary Camporee in California. From whale watching to hiking in Yosemite National Park, it was amazing!

August: Getting to know me

From interning at Sangam to living working on my Queen's Guide Award and DofE, find out all about me!
